Blizzard’s Black Pearl range has become a benchmark for women’s all-mountain skis, and the 84 version is arguably the most versatile. Its 84mm waist length is in between multiple sizes, the quicker 82 and the floatier 88 and 94 options, the 84 is tuned for mixed-conditions performance. It's been said that Black Pearl 84 shares close similarities to the Blizzard Anomaly line, but with a women’s-specific construction that trims weight and softens the feel without compromising power or edge grip. The Black Pearl 84 Rs TrueBlend wood core, is crafted with a precise layering of beech and poplar to deliver a progressive flex, stronger underfoot, and soft feel at the tips and tails. A full-width Titanal sheet under the binding zone is framed by a Titanal perimeter, which boosts torsional rigidity while allowing the ski to maintain a responsive, less-demanding ride. Carbon stringers replace the heavier second metal layer found in other Blizzard unisex skis, delivering that ideal blend of stability and snap. The 84mm waist and 13m radius (at 164cm) make it a quick turner, while rocker at both ends keeps things light and agile in variable snow.
